Questions, answered

Everything students usually ask before the first call. If yours isn't here, just ask — I reply to every email myself.

Every level, from A0 (never studied a word) through A1 and B1 to B2, upper intermediate. Whether you are starting from scratch or polishing French you already speak well, the lessons are built around where you actually are — and the free call is where we establish that.
Honestly: it depends on you. We start the journey together, but the work you put in between lessons is what really moves the needle — how often we meet, how much you practise, how much you speak. It also depends on the target: basics for a holiday take weeks, comfortable professional French takes months. Tell me your deadline on the call and I'll give you a realistic answer rather than a flattering one.
Prices depend on the format (individual, group, conversation or intensive) and on how often we meet — groups work out considerably cheaper per hour. I quote after the free call, once I know what you actually need. Ask me for a quote.
I'm a native speaker with a PGCE, a Master's in French as a Foreign Language and twenty years of teaching behind me — and I plan every lesson around one student: you. Add years of living in English-speaking countries, and I know exactly where English speakers get stuck, and why.
Yes, of course — life happens. Please give at least 48 hours' notice before the lesson. Cancellations inside that window incur a fee, simply because the slot was held for you and prepared in advance.
Each lesson covers a blend of grammar, vocabulary, speaking, listening and culture, planned in advance around your objectives. You get the documents we work on, plus optional work between sessions if you want to accelerate.
Yes. Alongside one-to-one lessons I run group classes and conversation classes for two to six people of a matched level — couples, friends, families and small teams. If you have a group in mind, email me and we'll build something around it.
A communicative, interactive approach focused on practical skills — you speak a lot, from the very first session. I use varied and multimedia materials, authentic documents and real situations, always chosen for what works best for you.
Online via Zoom, so we can work together wherever you are in the world. All you need is a decent connection, a quiet spot and something to write with — everything else I share with you digitally.
Then you're in very good company. It usually means the method didn't fit, the pace was someone else's, or nobody explained the why behind the grammar. That's precisely what we correct on the free call, before you commit to anything.
